How to study the new codes without drowning
- Do not memorise 500 mappings in a weekend. Map the 20 sections your internships actually use.
- For each: old number → new number → one-line change (if any) → a judgment you have opened.
- Keep a running “still IPC in older FIRs” list so you do not “update” a 2019 charge sheet in your head.
Where AI is useful — and where it lies
Useful: “Explain this BNS section in two levels — fresher and for a client.” Lies: “Give me the BNS equivalent of every IPC section I list” without you opening the text. Equivalence tables go stale in the model’s weights. The Gazette does not.
